The Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) invites you to participate in a one-week-long winter school on Algebraic Geometry and Number Theory held at IPM-Isfahan from 1 to 7 February 2024. The winter school will cover three main topics:
- Algebraic K-theory
- Brauer Groups
- Profinite Groups
In addition to the lectures in the morning, there will be problem-solving sessions and discussions in the evenings, allowing participants to actively engage with the material and deepen their understanding through hands-on practice. The winter school will also provide ample opportunities for networking and collaboration with fellow participants and experts in the field.
The participants of the Decoding Dimensions classes can apply for this winter school. We also encourage all students with a background in commutative algebra and Galois theory to apply for this winter school. The event will be held at IPM-Isfahan.
Registration is required, and only those whose application is approved can participate. To register, please complete the application form here. The deadline for applications is January 14, 2024.
Participants who are not from Isfahan and need accommodation will be provided with lodging.
Here is the poster of the winter school. The schedule and additional course information will be posted later…
We look forward to welcoming you to the winter school on algebraic geometry and number theory at IPM-Isfahan.
